Back in 2000-something-something, one of my college roommates and I were in love with Homestar Runner, iron-on letters, and fabric markers.
In my tradition of dressing as something only a select few special nerds might recognize, I dressed as What’s Her Face from Teen Girl Squad Numba 3 for Halloween that year - including a reference to the episode on the back of my shirt, because why not.
Keeping in character, I DID in fact go to a thrift store or junkyard to make most of this costume.
The felt possum was elegantly hand-crafted and stuffed by yours truly. I hung it from my dorm room door like a pelt for the following few months. I think I still have this costume in a box somewhere, if anyone is in need of a dated early 2000’s getup that no one will understand!
